Braves premiere new track ‘Dropout’

Australian surf-punk group Braves shared their newest single, Dropout, over at Consequence of Sound last Friday (November 20). The rowdy slacker anthem comes hot on the heels of their other new track, Get It Right, which Braves previewed for their fans over Rolling Stone Australia just a little over a week ago.

“It’s a ferocious punk anthem, complete with snark and plenty of vicious screams.”– Dusty Henry, Consequence of Sound

Watch out for the official release of the digital double-single (packaged with Get It Right), due out December 4th.

More about Braves? Singled out by DIY Mag as one of the best new artists coming out of Australia’s most isolated city, Perth, Braves draw influence from music histories beyond their hometown: they tread in the footsteps of Southern Californian punk heroes FIDLAR and the lo-fi pop rock of Glaswegian guys PAWS, and swing by the scrappy indie rock coat-tails of Ohio’s Cloud Nothings. Braves write upbeat garage tracks with catchy, honest choruses about being fuck-ups. Huge riffs and hooks ahoy.
