Newest Addiction: Graphical Representation of Song Lyrics

I discovered a really fun application to play with online – www.wordle.net – that allows you to make a word cloud, and then customise it. I decided to enter some song lyrics to see what happens and here are the results of my little experiment.

Music Video Addiction: Sunday July 3, 2011 Edition

This edition of the weekly music video picks will be our first post on the new blog space and platform. Hopefully we won’t have to change again since it took ages to get the layout correct and hosting info up and running. We picked some good videos this week that will hopefully make your eyes and ears happy. Enjoy!

The Von Bondies: C’mon C’mon - still find this song so catchy.

The Black Keys: Your Touch - love the Black Keys and fun video.

Prayer Tower: Warm Leatherette – great cover of the classic track by The Normal.

HTRK: HA – pronounced “Hate Rock”…liking the sound of this band from London.

She Wants Revenge: Must Be The One – they are totally channelling Psychedelic Furs and Images in Vogue on this track

Rough Trade: All Touch - true classic track.

We hope you enjoyed this week’s selections as well as the new blog layout. More music videos next Sunday.

Thanks,

Cameron from Culture Addicts
