The Tony Hawk Foundation announced it’s returning to Beverly Hills for its 12th-Annual Tony Hawk’s Stand Up For Skateparks benefit on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Green Acres Estate. Tickets are on sale now here. The event will feature a Vert Demo with Tony Hawk and other skateboarding and BMX icons riding Hawk’s personal ramp while legendary DJ Z-Trip creates their soundtrack, spinning live from the deck. There will also be a surprise musical performance by one of Hawk’s favorite bands to be announced soon.
Today, the Tony Hawk Foundation revealed the list of skateboarding and BMX athletes slated to participate in the vert demo. The list includes: Elliot Sloan, Lizzie Armanto, Allysha Bergado, Evan Doherty, Paul-Luc Ronchetti, Andy Macdonald, Simon Tabron, Coco Zurita, Kevin Staab, and Mat Hoffman.
Tony Hawk’s Stand Up For Skateparks benefit is a family-friendly action-sports carnival that includes games, food, and live and silent auctions with one-of-a-kind items and experiences, plus special-guest performances. Proceeds support the Tony Hawk Foundation’s mission to empower youth through the creation of free, quality, public skateparks in low-income communities throughout the U.S., and Internationally with programs that enrich the lives of youth through skateboarding.
This year, during a special live auction, attendees will also have the chance to bid on a 2016 MINI Countryman Park Lane Edition, customized by DUB Magazine, Roadwire Interiors and Rockledge Securities and featuring a one-of-a-kind leather interior plus a Sony PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system pre-loaded with the new Tony Hawk’s® Pro Skater™ 5.

This year’s event will be co-chaired by Tony Hawk, Eve and Maximillion Cooper. Benefit Committee members include Ron Burkle, Fred Durst, Jon Favreau, Etty and Perry Farrell, Stacey and Allen Gibson, Brian Austin Green, Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Mat Hoffman, Bobby Kotick, Tommy Lee, Howie Mandel, Rodney Mullen, Tony Norman, Lyn-Z and Travis Pastrana, Chris Sacca, Sultan AlSaud, Henry Stupp, Robert Trujillo, Lars Ulrich, Steve Van Doren, Lori and Bill Walton, and DJ Z-Trip.
Since launching in 2004, the annual Stand Up For Skateparks benefit has raised over $9.3-million dollars to benefit the Tony Hawk Foundation.
