Daisychain say ‘Yeah’ to good energy on their gritty new single

Chicago psych-blues trio Daisychain just dropped Yeah, and it’s exactly the kind of guitar-heavy, tongue-in-cheek jam you want blasting out of your car windows right now. Produced, mixed and mastered by Noam Wallenberg (Vulfpeck, A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller), the track pulls from grunge textures and classic rock swagger while somehow still sounding unmistakably like them.

The band also just dropped a high-octane Jam In The Van live session, because apparently sitting still isn’t in their vocabulary.

Rhythm guitarist/vocalist Sophia Williams sums up the energy behind the single:

“‘Yeah’ a tongue-in-cheek song about trying to keep good energy when the world is heavy. It’s a free-flowing tune that still holds grit, perfect for airing your sh*t out.”

Since dropping their 2025 debut ‘All In A Name,’ Daisychain hasn’t stopped moving — nonstop shows across the country and a European debut later that year. Now they’re gearing up for a hefty run through the Midwest and East Coast this July through September.

About ‘All In A Name’

Produced by legendary engineer Sylvia Massy (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, Prince), Daisychain’s debut LP ‘All In A Name’ is a wild, layered listen — woodwinds, chimes, pump organs, and synthesized harmonies tangled up with fierce garage-rock grit and 1970s classic rock soul. It dropped in June 2025 to acclaim from the Chicago Sun-Times, Block Club Chicago, Spectrum Culture, Melodic Magazine, and Newcity Chicago.

Live Shows That Hit Different

Daisychain’s live show has earned a reputation for pure, unfiltered rock ‘n’ roll energy — Culture Flux called them out for lighting up the room from the first song to the last, with catchy melodies and a soulful, blues-soaked delivery.

About Daisychain

Driven by dual lead vocals, dynamic guitars, and a healthy dose of weird female energy à la Patti Smith and PJ Harvey, Daisychain is rock ‘n’ roll’s answer to the 2020s’ doom, gloom, and disposable everything. Made up of Nickole Regala (bass, vocals), Frankie Sripada (lead guitar), and Sophia Williams (rhythm guitar, vocals), the Chicago trio formed in 2017 and has toured relentlessly ever since — supporting acts like Frankie & The Witchfingers, Neal Francis, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, Death Valley Girls, and Gyasi along the way.
