Hot off their latest run-in with controversy, LA’s reigning Satanic doo-wop duo Twin Temple are back with news of a new era. The husband-and-wife pair have announced their third full-length, ‘Doomed Lovers,’ arriving October 9 via their own Pentagrammaton Records — and they’ve already shared the title track, Doomed Lovers, across all digital platforms and YouTube.
The timing couldn’t be more fitting. After being pulled from a run of shows by Charley Crockett over their Satanic imagery, Twin Temple caught the attention (and an invite) from Jack White to open for him in Hollywood this September. Now they’ve stacked their calendar even further, adding a run of headlining dates around their previously confirmed slots supporting Danzig.

Twin Temple describe Doomed Lovers as the emotional core of the record — a swooning, theatrical meditation on obsessive love, devotion, and the mythic Romantic idea that some love is too big to survive.
“This is the philosophical centerpiece of the album — a theatrical and confessional take on all or nothing love, the dark side of devotion and centuries old mythic literary Romantic themes.”
Rather than offering comfort, the song leans into the messier, more selfish side of grief and desire — the parts polite society tells you to keep to yourself.
About the Album
‘Doomed Lovers’ marks Twin Temple’s most ambitious work yet. Recorded with GRAMMY-winning producer Shooter Jennings at the legendary Studio 3 inside Sunset Sound, the record keeps the band’s classic analog roots intact while going bigger — a 37-piece orchestra, Countrypolitan flourishes, and session heavyweights like Matt Chamberlain and Jay Bellerose all feature.

The album was born out of a genuinely difficult chapter for the band, who have been open about grief, health struggles, addiction, and depression in the lead-up to making it. Making ‘Doomed Lovers’ became part of how they found their way back.
“It connected us to why we fell in love with music in the first place and became our most personal album yet.”
