Seattle cumbia-punk duo LUCHA LUNA are keeping the momentum rolling. Hot off their NACC chart-topping debut this past January, the pair have released ‘BRILLA BRILLA: Remixed’ — and they’re shared the second single from the release.
The new single, Don’t Get Out Of Line (Lua Preta Remix, comes courtesy of Lua Preta, a Polish-Angolan collaboration between Mentalcut and Supa Gia G, whose original productions and DJ sets weave African influences through a playful genre mashup.
Lucha Luna is a Seattle duo mixing latin percussion, heavy bass, punk vocals and reggaeton flows into an energetic expression of joy and rage.
‘BRILLA BRILLA: Remixed’ brings together a stacked lineup of global producers, including CERO39, Maga Bo, Riobamba, Lua Preta, Los Chicos Altos, QE-MA, Sonido Arrecho, and Dr. Wam. The lead single, Ritmo Eterno (Maga Bo Remix), arrived July 24th.
Formed in the unrest of 2025, Lucha Luna — Eva Vazquez and Thomas Arndt — channel resistance, liberation, community, and healing into their sound. The duo has been a fixture across the Pacific Northwest, recently featured on KEXP’s Audioasis, and will play Seattle’s Bumbershoot this summer before heading to Europe this November.
