It’s a Shame (released as a 7″ via Fat Possum on 3/10), serves as a transition between 2013’s ‘Chain Letters’ and the band’s upcoming full-length album, currently in production with John Congleton (St. Vincent, Modest Mouse, Rogue Wave, David Byrne) and due out later this year. Their new material further branches out from their past albums, taking the best elements of their first two records, and adding some ‘60s psych and a bit of ‘80s mega-pop.
Tour dates:
4/02 – San Francisco – DNA *
4/18 – Los Angeles – Origami Vinyl (Record Store Day)
4/23 – Los Angeles – The Echo (Ticket Link)
