Channeling the feeling of youth on the fringe, Chastity focuses on the earnest connections found in pent up suburbia. Living in the outskirts, Brandon Williams creates music in a space of urgency, melody and chaos – an artifact of youth culture that bridges isolation and collectivity. They have shared the video for the excellent and soaring new track Dying To Live, which is out now via Dine Alone Records. Watch the video for Dying To Live via YouTube below.
About the single, Williams explains, “The title Dying to Live was inspired by an old Zero skate video from 2002. The video had the best soundtrack. Nirvana, Slayer, Neil Young – it definitely informed my taste growing up. The song is about the feeling of not being able to live without someone, as though life won’t start again until they’re back again.”
The Whitby, ON based band continue to act as a young voice for revolutionary thought and are a stand out temperament in music, and in recent history have shared the stage with DIIV, Chelsea Wolfe and Japandroids.
