After turning heads on tour with shoegaze royalty Slowdive, Creepoid are back to bless us with more good news—two rare headlining shows and a long-awaited return of one of their most elusive releases.
Mark your calendars: Creepoid will play August 16 at Music Hall of Williamsburg in NYC and September 5 at The Echoplex in LA. These are their only headline shows this year, and honestly, a must for fans of moody, fuzzed-out bliss. Tickets are live now—go get ’em.
But that’s not all. After nearly a decade of fans asking (read: begging), the band’s cult classic ‘Wet’ EP is finally making its digital debut. Originally a 2014 Record Store Day exclusive from Graveface Records, the EP sold out in 24 hours, was never repressed, and never hit Spotify—until now.
Now, in celebration of Graveface’s 25th anniversary (shoutout to their stacked catalog: Whirr, Beachy Head, The Appleseed Cast…), the label is resurrecting a series of long-lost gems—including ‘Wet’. The four-track EP is a beautifully murky fever dream of dark drone, warped melody, and slow-burning noise that somehow sounds even better after being buried for a while.
The lead track Wet Bread quietly dropped on DSPs, and now, the full EP is available to stream everywhere. For the vinyl heads: there’s also a limited second pressing, which will be available at the NYC and LA shows.
So yeah—two rare gigs, a fan-favourite EP back from the dead, and a label anniversary worth celebrating. Dive in.
