Dead Soft tour across Canada

Dead Soft’s self-titled debut LP was released on August 30 via Kingfisher Bluez. In support of the album, the band sets out on a cross-Canada tour in October. With plans to record their second LP during the winter and tour the US in the spring/summer, Dead Soft show no signs of slowing down. Dead Soft released their self titled EP in September of 2011 through their Bandcamp page and a small run of tapes via No One’s Ark Records. The tight, six track package set out to establish their artistic range with tracks like Phase demonstrating their pure punk bravado to tracks like Something For Nothing that pull the band’s sound into a noisy, dark direction without losing their trademark pop sensibility. The band’s second official record “Teen Fiction” was released in the Spring of 2013 and gave them the momentum to tour across Canada and back. Upon their return to the West Coast, Dead Soft threw themselves into writing and recording their first full-length album, working with Jordan Koop (The Courtneys, Needles//Pins) at the Noise Floor Recording Studio.
