Deerhoof’s forthcoming new album Miracle-Level due out next Friday 3/31 (via Joyful Noise Recordings). Produced by Mike Bridavsky over two weeks last July, ‘Miracle-Level’ is their highly anticipated first album made entirely in a proper studio after 28 years of DIY recordings. It’s also their first full-length sung entirely in Satomi Matsuzaki’s native Japanese language. Listen to My Lovely Cat! lifted from the album via YouTube below.

Miracle-Level’ “celebrates the infinite small wonders of existence… the miracles that spontaneously present themselves when we’re not distracted by the tribalism and manipulation of our death-driven masters… the miracles that Artificial Intelligence will never replicate. Deerhoof speak in a secret code in which hooks abound, genre is nonexistent, and magic ever awaits us.”

Check out album singles My Lovely Cat, Sit Down, Let Me Tell You a Story, and Wedding, March, Flower. The FADER & Consequence spoke with the band about their recording process, and you can watch other fun videos about it via their Instagram. You can pre-order from Bandcamp.

The band is playing a few U.S. dates in early April with more touring later this year, go here tour routing:
