Fiancé return with a slice of shoegaze on ‘wing’

Fiancé

Delaware indie-darlings, Fiancé, take flight with this first single, wing. It’s a hazy dose of shoegazey dream-pop that will have your head spinning.

The band is also excited to announce their follow-up to the 2016 self-titled record. On this new EP, ‘Feverdream,’  the band (somewhat) sheds the lo-fi bedroom aesthetic for a more polished studio sound. A collection of songs more thought out and recorded live, ‘Feverdream,’ is the band’s most self-realized piece of work to date.

“We try to strike a balance between how we write as a group with however personal our singer Andrew’s lyrical content and subjects may be.”

As a tight-knit group, Fiancé has had the privilege of expanding and exploring with each release.  Their bond dates back to their middle school days in Delaware. Songwriter Andrew Fusca, guitarist Jeff Marvel, and Tyler Yoder started kicking names around until they settled on Fiancé. Later, they added drummer, Brian Bruce, and keyboardist Sam Nobles to round out the line-up.

After 2014’s breakout, ‘EP1,’ a self-titled full length, and multiple shows with acts like Built to Spill, Beach Fossils, and Small Black, Fiancé is primed to make waves in 2018.
