Asbury Park quartet Dentist has released their new single, Meet You There (In Delaware). It’s the follow-up to their beachy surfpop sound on their single Awful, which premiered earlier this year. Meet You There (In Delaware) gives listeners a sneak-peek of what’s to come on ‘Ceilings’ this summer, and it’s a lot of fun. The track’s danceable drumbeat, combined with bending surf rock guitars and frontwoman Emily Bornemann’s infectious vocals, create a sound that’s perfect to beckon in the warmer months.
Products of the blossoming Asbury Park, New Jersey scene, Dentist combine a fuzzy garage sound with a beachy, traditionally west-coast vibe. Since the release of their self-titled debut album in 2014, Dentist has toured extensively throughout the Northeast and the South, and plan to do so more extensively this summer, picking up more fans and experiences along the way.
