Announce EU/UK tour & festival dates
‘Frog in Boiling Water’ is out now via Fantasy.
DIIV return with a fresh take on Everyone Out, remixed by the boundary-pushing electronic duo Mount Kimbie. This new version stretches the song into a hypnotic, immersive soundscape—blurring the lines between organic and electronic elements, much like DIIV’s own sonic evolution on their latest album.
The remix follows recent reworks of Brown Paper Bag and Raining on Your Pillow by Upsammy and Daniel Avery, with the latter landing a spot on BBC Radio 6 Music’s B-list at the start of the year.
Originally featured on ‘Frog in Boiling Water,’ Everyone Out is one of the album’s standout tracks, layered with acoustic textures, looping tape effects, and synthesizers. Now, through Mount Kimbie’s lens, it transforms into something dreamlike and expansive—an entirely new experience.

DIIV hit the road
Alongside the remix, DIIV have announced a massive EU/UK tour, hitting festival stages and headlining venues throughout the summer. These dates follow a sold-out European run last year, including two nights at London’s Alexandra Palace with Fontaines D.C., plus a sprawling 40+ date North American tour.
For LA fans, the band has something extra special in store—a three-night residency at the Teragram Ballroom (May 24-26), where they’ll play Frog in Boiling Water in full each night.

‘Frog in Boiling Water’: A record born from struggle
A four-year journey nearly broke DIIV before ‘Frog in Boiling Water’ was complete. This album wasn’t just another project—it was a battle. For the first time, the band treated the creative process as a true democracy, pushing their sound in new directions while navigating the tensions of friendship, finances, and creative ambition.
What emerged was a deeply immersive, emotionally charged collection of 10 songs—an introspective dive into modern anxieties, disillusionment, and resilience.
The story behind the title
The album takes its name from the “boiling frog” metaphor, referenced in Daniel Quinn’s The Story of B. The idea? If you drop a frog into boiling water, it’ll fight to escape. But if you heat the water gradually, it won’t notice until it’s too late.
DIIV saw the slow, numbing collapse of society under capitalism as a perfect parallel. The band explains:
“We are the frogs. The water is getting hotter. And this album is a reflection of what that collapse looks and feels like.”
Brutal, beautiful, and unflinchingly real—‘Frog in Boiling Water’ is a record you don’t just hear. You feel it.
