Discogs announced earlier this year that they’ll be spreading the love of vinyl records throughout Canada with the announcement of two of its Crate Diggers events series coming in June 2017. Taking place on Saturday, June 10 in Montréal, Québec, and Saturday, June 17 in Toronto, Ontario, Discogs’ Crate Diggers inaugural Canadian endeavor partners with Toronto’s Dine Alone Records, Canada’s premiere indie record label.
Crate Diggers has shared the lineup for the June 17 After Party featuring Nap Eyes, Dave Monks (Tokyo Police Club), and Fake Palms.
With multiple vendors selling, avid collectors hunting rare gems, and those freshly falling in love with the vinyl format, everyone will have an opportunity to share their collective infatuation with vinyl under one roof. During the Crate Diggers record fair, Local DJs will be providing the soundtrack keeping people elbow deep in the crates. In the immortal words of R. Kelly, after the party, there’s the After Party, where the best vinyl DJs/Artists in the world keep the party going until the wee hours. Discogs’ Crate Diggers series continues to be the most important avenue to bring together the music collecting community face to face to discuss their passion for all things music. All for FREE admittance and FREE good vinyl vibes.
