Etsy presents 45 Canadian sellers in a curated mini-marketplace at the One of a Kind Spring Show and Sale from March 25 to March 29 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto. For the third year in a row, visitors can shop a wide range of handmade goods such as art and stationery, home décor, fashion and accessories, bath and beauty, and children’s toys, in addition to meeting some of their favourite Etsy.com sellers from across Canada.“Etsy is proud to be partnering with the One of a Kind Spring Show and Sale again this year. It’s a wonderful setting for consumers to meet the talented designers and makers on Etsy,” said Erin Green, Country Manager, Etsy Canada. “Etsy is always keen on bringing creative communities together and the One of a Kind Show is the perfect outlet to do so.”

Everything sold at the biannual One of a Kind Show and Sale is made by hand in North America. Etsy.com, the online global marketplace for handmade and vintage goods, will make its third pop-up appearance at the spring show this year.

“We are pleased to welcome Etsy to the One of a Kind Show for the third year in a row,” said Patti Stewart, Show Director, One of a Kind Show and Sale. “As a leading online destination for handmade and vintage goods, Etsy aligns well with our mission to foster the community of talented artisans and designers from across Canada.”

Out-of-province sellers travelling to show at the Etsy marketplace include witty card maker I’ll Know It When I See It from Vancouver, as well as illustrator and doll maker Cara Carmina from Montreal. Handmade goods from across Ontario include candles from Campy, hand lettered prints from Dayna Lee Collection, and dolls from Sew Whimsical by Katie. Local finds from Toronto-based shops, like handcut paper designs from Light & Paper, handmade soaps and soy candles from Malee by Nature, jewellery by Standing O and cake toppers from The Sweet Escape, are also sure to appeal to the show’s many shoppers.

In addition, the Etsy section at the One of a Kind Show features the Toronto community winner of the 2014 first-ever Etsy Made in Canada, an annual nationwide pop-up marketplace in celebration of local makers across the country. Attendees of last September’s event at MaRS nominated their favourite seller to win a free exhibit at the One of a Kind Spring Show and Sale. With an overwhelming number of entries, Etsy is excited to announce Amanda Perumal of Contra Botanic will be making her One of a Kind Show and Sale debut this spring with her incredibly lifelike, needle felted succulents.
