Swedish electronic project Moist (aka David Elfström Lilja) releases his second single for the track Me And You (feat. Smith and Thell), which is out May 1st via I/O Music on CD and digital download. The track is lifted from his debut album ‘Temporary Arrangement,’ which was released earlier this year – read more about it here.

Talking about the collaboration with Smith and Thell, Lilja explained, “I helped a new young band called Smith & Thell with some design stuff, we started talking, I asked them if they wanted to collaborate and sent them the draft of what became Me And You. I just love Maria Smiths vocals! Fragile but with lots of attitude!”

Me And You is a slow, brooding, minimal electronic pop track that starts with a bass heavy synth line layered under angelic vocals but progresses to include whip sharp drum beats and echoing, stuttering vocal melodies. It is as eerie as it is beautiful. If you like Ladytron or Massive Attack, you should definitely check out more from Moist.
