Fuzz-pop duo Yawn Mower shares ‘Shed Is Old’

Yawn Mower

Yawn MowerRising up in the newly revived music scene in Asbury Park, fuzz-pop duo Yawn Mower are set to release their second EP of originals, What’s All This New Piss?, out March 11th, 2017. The wet our palettes for the upcoming EP, they’ve release Shed Is Old and you can take a listen via Soundcloud below.

Yawn Mower was formed in the summer of 2015 by Mike Chick (guitar, vox) and Biff Swenson (drums, vox) after their past projects had played together frequently over the years. The idea was simple, make fuzzy surfy good time tunes while having a blast doing it. The band has played with Mothers (Wichita Recordings), Screaming Females (Don Giovanni Records), Parlor Mob (Roadrunner Records), The Jigsaw Seen (Burger Records) and have performed at Convention Hall on Halloween, as well as The Stone Pony on New Years Eve. Their live show is a blend of, “high energy fuzz, comedic relief, and a healthy dose of familiar hits from bands much more successful than Yawn Mower.”

What’s All This New Piss? was recorded with Pat Noon (River City Extension, Brick + Mortar) at Eight Sixteen in Bayville, NJ. It was mastered by Alan Douches (Cage The Elephant, Brand New) at West West Side in New Windsor, NY. It will be released on CD independently, cassette through Cassanova Cassettes, and lathe cut vinyl through In The Clouds Records.  Look for more from Yawn Mower leading up to the drop of their latest EP and pre-order it here.
