FYF Fest announces food vendor lineup + limited edition 7″”

The 12th year of FYF Fest kicks off on Saturday, August 22nd, and they have shared the lineup of food vendors. All vendors below are new to the fest this year, with the exception of Pure Luck, Sage and Donut Friend – see the oust below (in alphabetical order):

From cocktail and wine guru Brett Helms, this year’’s FYF Cocktail program features craft on draft spicy margaritas, Oaxacan old fashioneds, cucumber vodka cocktails, Caribbean inspired drinks and more. Small production, artisanal wines will also be featured with a large focus on Rose, with wines from the Loire Valley in France to Cataluña in Spain and California’s Sonoma Coast.

FYF Fest will feature headlining performances from Frank Ocean and Morrissey, with additional sets by D’’Angelo and The Vanguard, Bloc Party, Flume, Chet Faker, FKA Twigs, Solange, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Belle and Sebastian, Spiritualized and many more. Produced in association with Goldenvoice, FYF Fest’s single day tickets have sold out, but fans can still purchase two day general admission tickets for $175 or VIP passes for $329. FYF Fest has also announced FYF Records, which will be putting out some 7”” records of some of their friends’’ bands. The first release will be a limited edition clear vinyl 7”” from Junk on August 21st, with copies available on site at the festival as well.

Featuring former members of Girls, Wires On Fire, and Slang Chickens, Junk has been playing around Southern California for the past year. Before their set at FYF Fest, Junk will play an FYF Records release show for their “Like A Cop” 7”” on Friday, August 21st at Non Plus Ultra, and fans can hear the tracks here and watch the video via YouTube below. The festival is making sure fans will arrive and depart the fest in a safe and timely fashion, and are working closely with Metro Los Angeles. Leading up to doors, we are keeping a rush hour schedule of trains every six minutes. Last trains both nights depart at 1:30am for all lines or 2:10am for Expo Line only (no transfers).

This year there will be a new fifth stage, later hours on the Trees stage and in the Arena, multiple festival exits and a new entrance plan to speed entry for fans. A new walkway has also been added between the Main Stage and Lawn/Trees stage to make it faster to jump between sets.
