SONS are back and ready to shake things up with their new single and video, Do My Thing, released via [PIAS] Recordings. This track is the first glimpse into their forthcoming album, ‘HALLO,’ dropping later this year.b
Fresh off opening for icons like Jack White, Wolfmother, and Royal Blood, the Belgian rock outfit is exploring new sonic landscapes. To craft their bold new sound, the band teamed up with British producer Dave McCracken—the creative force behind dEUS’s The Architect and a collaborator with stars such as Ian Brown, A$AP Rocky, Beyoncé, and Depeche Mode. Inspired by the band’s raw demos, McCracken made several trips to their hometown, molding the songs into something truly special.
Singer and guitarist Robin Borghgraef reflects on the experience: “He took us completely out of our comfort zone. Do My Thing came from one unforgettable night with Dave and is the fastest song we’ve ever written. It’s all about living in the moment and just doing your own thing. Sometimes our songs speak for themselves,” he laughs.
Dave McCracken chimed in with his enthusiasm, “Working with SONS was like collaborating with a team of superheroes—each member bringing their own unique power. When they come together, they transform into something unstoppable.”
