Canongate Books and Book Slam along with XL Recordings celebrate legendary poet, novelist and musician, Gil Scott-Heron for the launch of his posthumous memoir, The Last Holiday at Wilton’s Music Hall on the 19th January. The launch includes special DJ sets by Jamie XX and Gilles Peterson who will both do musical tributes to Gil. The line-up also includes dynamic young poets Kate Tempest and Ben Mellor. Tickets are on sale on 5th January.
