HAUX announces debut EP ‘All We’ve Known Out’

Haux

HauxHaux is the musical identity of 24 year old singer/songwriter/producer Woodson Black.  Fusing dream folk with lush electronic textures, his debut EP ‘All We’ve Known’ is set for release on July 8th.  The EP will feature previous singles Caves and Homegrown, which collectively garnered over three million streams upon their release, the EP was crafted between his family home in the Berkshires and small flat in London.

Influenced by the dramatic landscapes of his hometown, ‘All We’ve Known’ is a five track collection highlighted by reverb drenched guitars, ethereal vocals, and atmospheric dreamstates.  Written, produced, mixed, photographed, and filmed (Caves video) by himself, Haux’s debut is a testament to his distinct artistry and sophisticated musicianship. ‘All We’ve Known’ marks a major career shift for Black.  Having worked for various record labels in London and New York, he set aside his pursuits in the field of music business and began to focus on the intersection of his own music and photography. What emerged is the pastoral aesthetic that has become known as Haux.

With a big year shaping up in 2016, stay tuned for more from Haux and be sure to catch him live in NYC on July 27th at Rockwood Music Hall.
