The kitchen is the heartbeat of the home. This is the principal theory behind the\u00a0Appliance Love<\/a>\u00a0concept. Appliance Love is the new standard in luxury appliance showrooms,\u00a0offering red carpet customer service.\u00a0Designed by Toronto\u2019s acclaimed\u00a0DesignAgency<\/a>, the brand new showroom is located at\u00a0950 Dupont St., in the heart of the Dupont design district.<\/p>\n

The large street-facing windows were created to showcase display elements, similar to a department store. In the front window spins an eye-catching washer and dryer sitting atop a six-foot red-soled stiletto heel. Upon entering the space, clients\u00a0are not\u00a0bombarded with brand logos,\u00a0instead they\u00a0experience the new face of appliance design and integration.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited to create a new blueprint for appliance showrooms,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>said\u00a0Marco Tallarico, president and founder, Appliance Love. \u201cMerging technology and design is the future of the modern kitchen,\u00a0a traditional retail atmosphere\u00a0doesn’t\u00a0cut it anymore. Appliances are the heart of every home and we believe that every home needs a heart.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The\u00a0DesignAgency\u2019s goal with Appliance Love was to create a conceptual kitchen where the appliances\u00a0are not\u00a0overshadowed by any particular aesthetic.<\/p>\n

\u201cDesigning Appliance Love, we wanted to treat customers to a unique and memorable showroom\u00a0experience that was also simple, honest and cool<\/em>,\u201d said\u00a0Jamie Phelan,\u00a0associate,\u00a0DesignAgency. \u201cWe created a warm space with natural wood finishes to offset the industrial setting and 16\u00a0foot ceilings. We also developed an innovative box module system for merchandising smaller household items that add colour, life and levity to the space<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Appliance Love showcases over 23 of the world\u2019s leading appliance brands including\u00a0Miele<\/a>,\u00a0Monogram<\/a>,\u00a0Liebherr<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Sub-Zero and Wolf<\/a>. The showroom is about learning and discovering the latest in design, technology and health. One of the feature products is\u00a0the\u00a0Urban Cultivator<\/a>,\u00a0an intuitive indoor grow machine that cultivates a long list of herbs, microgreens, vegetables and flowers \u2013 the perfect partner for at-home juicing. The showroom also boasts a variety\u00a0of steam ovens, the\u00a0new standard in healthy cooking. Appliance Love is the only in-store retailer in Canada to carry\u00a0Door Filter<\/a>, a patented filter that reduces dust, allergens, noise and light caused by corridor pressure \u2013 ideal for condo <\/span>living.<\/p>\n
