FLOOD Magazine (FLOODmagazine.com<\/a>), in partnership with Ernie Ball, are running\u00a0PLAY FLOODfest, a new program offering unsigned bands\u00a0an exclusive and sought-after performance slot at FLOODfest in Austin, TX during SXSW 2016. PLAY FLOODfest winners would join a long list of past FLOODfest performers including Spoon, Run the Jewels, Chromeo, Best Coast, DJ Windows 98 (Win Butler of Arcade Fire), Twin Shadow and more. One of the most buzzed about SXSW showcases in 2015, FLOODfest Austin is set to be a premiere destination for festival attendees.<\/p>\n

For nearly 20 years, Ernie Ball has offered unsigned US-based artists the\u00a0unique opportunity to perform live at top festivals, and PLAY FLOODfest is the latest iteration of that mission. Unsigned bands can upload their original music to ernieball.com\/play<\/a>. Submissions will be ranked based on their social media aggregation until the contest\u00a0closes on February 29th at which point Ernie Ball and FLOOD Magazine staff will select a winner from the top 100 submissions.
