Portishead<\/a>‘s multi-instrumentalist and turntable innovator\u00a0Geoff Barrow\u00a0will be releasing a new hip-hop project called Quakers. The group’s self-titled album will available on April 9 via\u00a0Stones Throw Records.\u00a0You can\u00a0preview\u00a0all 41 tracks on the\u00a0Stones Throw’s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

‘Quakers’ includes 35 contributors with the foundation of the group is made up of Barrow (under the name, Fuzzface), Portishead engineer Stuart Matthews (under the name, 7-Stu-7) and Australian producer Katalyst. Some of the guest MCs appearing on the album are Guilty Simpson, Aloe Blacc, Dead Prez, Phat Kat, and Princo Po.<\/p>\n
