Sometimes you have to take a break from the music, and support a good cause. Here’s a chance \u00a0–\u00a0World Wildlife Fund Canada\u2019s is holding the first ever\u00a0Pandamonium<\/a>\u00a0party on\u00a0Thursday, June 23\u00a0at Andrew Richard Designs (571 Adelaide Street E.). Funds raised will help WWF-Canada continue its work protecting wildlife and wild places across Canada.<\/p>\n

\"Pandamonium\"\u201cPandamonium provides financial support and raises \u200eawareness about critical issues that face us now and in the future,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>said David Miller, president and CEO of WWF-Canada. \u201cSince the 1970s, our planet\u2019s wildlife populations have declined by 52 per cent.<\/em>\u00a0But environmental organizations receive less than three\u00a0per cent of all charitable donations in Canada, so this fundraiser is a critical part of our efforts to deliver on our conservation goals.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

With the theme of Doom & Bloom, Pandamonium will celebrate the majesty and resilience of nature. Throughout the event, guests will experience a journey of the senses, including a live performance from Juno Award-winning indie folk-rock group\u00a0The Strumbellas, an immersive multimedia experience by internationally renowned digital masterminds\u00a0Moment Factory, food stations catered by top chefs, complimentary drinks and much more.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so excited to be a part of the inaugural Pandamonium fundraiser. We have created what will be a truly beautiful event that weaves science, nature, music, art, food and fashion together\u00a0for an engaging exploration of environmental issues and solutions<\/em>,\u201d said Discovery Channel host and Pandamonium co-chair Ziya Tong. \u201cAnyone who wants to help protect the Earth and all the living things on it should join us on June 23<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pandamonium is an evolution of WWF-Canada\u2019s annual fundraising gala Panda Ball, which brought together members of Canada\u2019s philanthropic and business communities leading the next generation of conservation. WWF thanks the Royal Bank of Canada for its longtime support of Panda Ball and generosity as presenting sponsor of Pandamonium.<\/div>\n

VIP tickets, at $400 each, include a pre-party cocktail reception featuring a one-of-a-kind interactive wildlife encounter, an intimate performance from international opera star Teiya Kasahara, a VIP gift bag, a complimentary ticket to WWF-Canada\u2019s summer\u00a0party and more.
