To celebrate the release, the band has revealed a trippy video for album cut <em>GUMDROP<\/em>, which\u00a0you can check out via YouTube below.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/diVQABAdbBE?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-CA&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Comprised of long time friends\u00a0Joey Doubek\u00a0and\u00a0Ashley Arnwine, the band has delivered a dark, durgy and deceivingly sensitive collection. While previous releases represent anger and frustration, &#8216;COLLECTIVE SIGH&#8217;\u00a0provides a process of coping for vocalist Doubek, whose powerful delivery\u2014from a high-pitched scream, as if he\u2019s on the verge of cutting out, to a strong-trained melody\u2014is one of a kind, undeniably unique.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/1d59aca4aeedaab429816159e\/images\/308fe198-5328-4642-94da-f45259cff8fd.jpg?resize=324%2C324&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"PINKWASH COLLECTIVE SIGH cover\" width=\"324\" height=\"324\" align=\"none\" \/>Residing in Philly, PINKWASH came of age in DC and the political nature of their message is tangible. The name PINKWASH refers specifically to a type of marketing that capitalizes on the suffering of those with breast cancer and aims to draw attention to a corrupt system. After Joey&#8217;s experience of being the primary caregiver to his mother who died of breast cancer, and Ashley being his friend through that time, the name seemed appropriate.
