The band has just released\u00a0<em>Behind Your Eyes<\/em>, the second single\u00a0lifted from the album. &#8216;Stake My Claim,&#8217; the upcoming LP, falls in line between a punk band with pop sentiment and a power pop group with an edge, and the band is perfectly comfortable staking their claim in between the lines. The heavily anticipated &#8216;Stake My Claim&#8217; will be released via Don Giovanni Records on August 19. Now at age 28, Eldridge shows maturity but doesn&#8217;t let go of her youthful energy. &#8216;Stake My Claim,&#8217; the band&#8217;s third full length, was recorded throughout the fall and winter of 2015. It opens with their heaviest song to date, the title track, which sets a tone of Kait at a crossroad: \u201c\u2018Cause nothing stays the same \/ stake my claim.\u201d Her lyrics are centered around dissatisfaction and a need for change.
