\"MoaningMoaning Cities\u00a0have\u00a0premiered their single\u00a0Vertigo Rising<\/em>, which is lifted from their new album ‘D. Klein’\u00a0due for release September 23rd via\u00a0Third Outing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Moaning Cities\u00a0is a psychedelic rock’n’roll band formed in Brussels late 2011. They’ve released an eponym EP in 2012 coming straight up with folk\/blues roots, fuzzed out guitars and sitar-driven psychedelia. The debut album ‘Pathways Through The Sail’ came out in 2014 on the Brussels-based label Mottow Soundz, delivering the band’s experience of the contrasted modern city into psychedelic rock’n roll. Over the last couple years Moaning Cities played with bands like Radio Moscow, The Warlocks, Fuzz, Dead Meadow, Forks, My Sleeping Karma, Holy Wave, Allah-Las, Jacco Gardner, Wall of Death, and toured in Belgium, Italy, Germany, France & Switzerland, both in nightclubs and festivals including Eurosonic, DOUR, the Desertfests of Antwerp & Berlin, Roadburn & Incubate festivals.<\/p>\n

Moaning Cities\u00a0<\/strong>are also the organizers of the Brussels psych-fest called STELLAR SWAMP, the 2nd edition happened in February 2016 in Magasin4 and Atelier210 (info: stellarswamp.be<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Since their line-up change late 2014 the band operates as a mighty live quartet whose guitars & sitar (Valerian Meunier\/Tim Sinagra) rip to the grooves of a razor sharp female rhythm section (Melissa Morales on drums\/Juliette Meunier on bass). In December 2015, they recorded a second LP at KoKo Studio with Laurent ‘Roo’ Eyen (Experimental Tropic Blues Band, The K., It It Anita, ..) – to be released in September 2016 via\u00a0EXAG Records.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
