It&#8217;s been a year of near constant touring for Weaves, with the band hitting the road in Europe and the US\u00a0with the likes of Sunflower Bean, Beach Slang, Dilly Dally and Cayetana, but they found time to shoot\u00a0the video,\u00a0directed by Trevor Blumas from DOOMSQUAD, in Toronto during\u00a0a brief window when the band were home in July. Comprised entirely of close shots of Burke in a variety of increasingly elaborate guises the video provides\u00a0a fitting accompaniment to one of the band&#8217;s more personal songs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/G3gpwcxsRfQ?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-CA&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We shot this video on a hot summer\u00a0day with no AC in the Coffin Factory Lofts in Toronto. Sweaty and intimate,&#8221;<\/em> says Burke.\u00a0<em>&#8220;Visually it depicts the build up and break down of myself through the different looks. I wrote the song when I was living in a shitty place and was feeling kind of down, but the mysterious thing is I have no recollection of writing it. I found it on my computer one day and had thought I must have sent it to Morgan but I hadn&#8217;t.
