After releasing the self-produced &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/2012\/02\/27\/jd-sampson-men-release-new-ep-next\/\" target=\"_blank\">Next EP<\/a>&#8216; in February, the &#8216;Time EP&#8217; with the tracks <em>Time<\/em>, <em>Take It Away<\/em> and <em>Make Him Pay<\/em> (AKA JK Remix) includes production work from CHAINS (which is Alex Suarez and Ryland of Cobra Starship). As our first real foray into production with an outside producer, we felt comfortable and excited to take the songs to a new level,\u201d<\/em> says JD who met CHAINS while writing with Cobra Starship earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>These four EP releases are true to the unique and collaborative style of earlier MEN releases, such as the partnership for a tour only split 7&#8243; with Brazil&#8217;s CSS, and <em>Who Am I to Feel So Free<\/em> featuring Antony (from Antony &amp; The Johnsons).<\/p>\n<p>JD Samson + MEN is Le Tigre\u2019s JD Samson and Michael O\u2019Neill who focus on the energy of live performance and radical potential of dance music. The band will tour Europe this August, and U.S. in the Fall.
