A tautly wound&nbsp;exercise in both darkness and light, the song has become an early favourite in their lauded live sets and is paired to&nbsp;a striking, foreboding video&nbsp;directed by Ethan Barrett and Tom Gullam. In an age where people and bands overshare by default, The Murder Capital have done the opposite. If you wanted to know about The Murder Capital, you had to go to a show and see for yourself. Based on the caustic strength of one live recording of <em>More Is Less<\/em>, which went viral on YouTube (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/prescriptionpr.cmail20.com\/t\/j-l-mljikx-ejlihlkhu-d\/\" target=\"_blank\">watch<\/a>), and feverish word of mouth from those who have been lucky enough to attend these early gigs, The Murder Capital have built a formidable reputation. In just over a year, they\u2019ve sold out shows in their hometown of Dublin (to 400 people), played with Slaves, Shame and fellow countrymen Fontaines DC and seen the likes of the NME, Loud &amp; Quiet, Dork <g class=\"gr_ gr_19 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"19\" data-gr-id=\"19\">and<\/g> DIY back them already \u2013 with The Irish Times calling them out as Ireland\u2019s best new rock band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With debut single <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Feeling Fades (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/dublins-the-murder-capital-have-shared-their-debut-single-feeling-fades-which-will-out-january-11th-via-human-season\/\" target=\"_blank\">Feeling Fades<\/a><\/em>, the band fulfilled their early promise \u2013 delivering a&nbsp;propulsive slice of post-punk recorded with Flood (PJ Harvey, Nick Cave &amp; The Bad Seeds, Foals).
