The b-side is an alternative version of\u00a0Dreams, the final track off the new LP. These are cavernous, stoner lullabies that descend into post-rock soundscapes and are wrapped in dark shoegazing dreamscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This album was recorded at L.A.&#8217;s Kitten Robot Studio with\u00a0Paul Roessler\u00a0(Nina Hagen, The Deadbeats, The Screamers, 45 Grave), The cover artwork was created by\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B1kcQ9un6br\" target=\"_blank\">Trevor Tipton<\/a>, well know for his work with\u00a0The Black Angels, Primal Scream\u00a0and\u00a0Levitation Festival, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;Maybe Someday&#8217; is the firstLP from Tombstones In Their Eyes since their debut release &#8216;Sleep Forever&#8217; (2015). This album comes on the heels of several critically acclaimed releases: their\u00a0&#8216;Nothing New&#8217; EP,\u00a0<em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Shutting Down (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/tombstones-eyes-release-new-double-side-single-shutting-take-home\/\" target=\"_blank\">Shutting Down<\/a> <\/em>single and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/los-angeles-tombstones-eyes-release-fear-ep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"'Fear' EP (opens in a new tab)\">&#8216;Fear&#8217; EP<\/a>. Earlier they also released their huge sounding &#8216;Bad Clouds&#8217; EP (2016).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8216;Maybe Someday&#8217; tracklist<\/strong><br>01 Open Skies<br>02 Maybe Someday<br>03 I Want You<br>04 Today<br>05 Down In The Dirt<br>06 The Demon<br>07 Behind My Mind<br>08 The One<br>09 I Believe<br>10 I Can&#8217;t Feel It Anymore<br>11 Up and Down<br>12 Dreams<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;It was time for another full record; luckily, the songs kept coming, starting with the song &#8216;Maybe Someday&#8217; &#8211; one of those songs that just pours out with almost no effort. \u00a0The song is very sad, really. \u00a0We had a few more songs ready and we went into Kitten Robot Studio, with our good friend Paul Roessler at the helm, to start the record. \u00a0Open Skies was originally almost a joke song with lyrics about all the ways I could kill myself, until I got it together and wrote real lyrics,&#8221;<\/em> says\u00a0John Treanor.<br><br><em>&#8220;This set of songs still carries a bit of the sadness and depression that permeated some of our earlier stuff, but I was definitely in a better place this time around (although you may not be able to tell by the lyrics). \u00a0Less depression and catharsis, more joy. These songs do not all fit into one neat box. \u00a0We don&#8217;t use the same sounds on each song and the songs reflect the scope of what we do. \u00a0I wanted to do a keyboard based song, and Paul is such a great player so I wanted him to contribute, so we ended up with something really different for us called Dreams, the b-side for our first single&#8221;.<\/em><br><br><em>Open Skies<\/em> is available digitally everwhere. The full &#8216;Maybe Someday&#8217; album will be released on November 15 on limited edition CD via <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/tombstonesswc.bandcamp.com\/album\/maybe-someday\" target=\"_blank\">Somewherecold Records<\/a>.
