The first is a trippy video for the title track, created by frontman\u00a0John Treanor. The cover artwork was created by\u00a0Trevor Tipton, well know for his work with\u00a0The Black Angels, Primal Scream\u00a0and\u00a0Levitation Festival, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This follows their two-track single\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/tombstonesswc.bandcamp.com\/album\/maybe-someday-single\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Maybe Someday<\/em><\/a> with b-side\u00a0<em>I Can&#8217;t Feel It Anymore (Junkie Version)<\/em>, and\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/las-tombstones-in-their-eyes-share-new-single-open-skies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Open Skies (opens in a new tab)\">Open Skies<\/a> <\/em>(also two tracks with an alternative version of\u00a0<em>Dreams<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tombstones create walls of sound that are simultaneously sonorous and hazy. These are cavernous, stoner lullabies that are wrapped in dark shoegazing dreamscapes and descend into post-rock soundscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;Maybe Someday&#8217; is the first LP from Tombstones In Their Eyes since their debut release\u00a0&#8216;Sleep Forever&#8217;\u00a0(2015). This album comes on the heels of several critically acclaimed releases: their\u00a0&#8216;Nothing New&#8217; EP,\u00a0<em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/tombstonesintheireyes.bandcamp.com\/album\/shutting-down\" target=\"_blank\">Shutting Down<\/a><\/em> single and\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/tombstonesintheireyes.bandcamp.com\/album\/fear\" target=\"_blank\">\u2018Fear\u2019 EP<\/a>. Earlier they also released their huge sounding \u2018Bad Clouds\u2019 EP (2016).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About the album, John Treanor said, <em>&#8220;This set of songs still carries a bit of the sadness and depression that permeated some of our earlier stuff, but I was definitely in a better place this time around (although you may not be able to tell by the lyrics). Less depression and catharsis, more joy.
