Watch the video clip for the single via YouTube below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8R9WSejhK3g?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-CA&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The debut album from Zoon,\u00a0\u2018Bleached Wavves\u2019 will be out via\u00a0Paper Bag Records on June 19, 2020<strong>.<\/strong>\u00a0The name Zoon is derived\u00a0from the Ojibway word Zoongide\u2019ewin which means \u201cbravery, courage, the Bear Spirit\u201d and aptly describes the inspirations for the project and the lovingly crafted first full-length recording from aboriginal songwriter, Daniel Monkman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Bleached Wavves\u2019 is a\u00a010-track,\u00a0album document of what has been cheekily-coined as\u00a0\u201cmoccasin-gaze\u201d &#8211; and\u00a0in part, a culmination of Daniel&#8217;s\u00a0First Nations heritage coupled with\u00a0his love of the shoegaze\u00a0genre &#8211; arguably best\u00a0exemplified by the Dublin-born,\u00a0Kevin Sheilds helmed late 80&#8217;s + early 90&#8217;s band,\u00a0My Bloody Valentine\u00a0whose timeless\u00a0LP,\u00a0\u2018Loveless\u2018\u00a0being one\u00a0that changed everything for Daniel. Zoon embraces a similar\u00a0effects-laden sound with a distinctive and\u00a0new approach on his debut. While recording, Daniel faced the challenge of limited gear and creating everything in his bedroom using only\u00a0using only a Fender Deville guitar and\u00a0a DigiTech delay pedal which resulted in him employing some decidedly\u00a0creative, reverse engineering and recording techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018<strong>Bleached Wavves\u2019 track listing<\/strong><br>1.
