The remix adds euphoric, rave-indebted synths to the poetic, honest lyricism that had already marked out the original as a musical highlight of the year on its release earlier this year. He performed live for the first time ever under the For Those I Love moniker last Friday 6th November on Later&#8230; with Jools Holland, delivering a performance ingrained with such emotional weight that &#8216;For Those I Love&#8217; was to go on to trend on Twitter soon afterwards.<br><br>&nbsp;Watch <em>I Have a&nbsp;Love<\/em> (Live on Jools Holland)&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/prescriptionpr.cmail20.com\/t\/j-l-ajuyukk-ejlihlkhu-c\/\">here<\/a><br><br>For Those I Love have released two singles this year, both with self-directed videos from Balfe. The last,&nbsp;<em><a href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/dublins-for-those-i-love-shares-new-track-visual-essay-in-top-scheme\/\">Top Scheme<\/a><\/em>,&nbsp;featured&nbsp;a powerful and poignant visual essay that uninhibitedly tackles various social issues in Ireland, such as sexism, classism, and the prison industrial complex. The song followed most&nbsp;people&#8217;s introduction to the project, <em>I Have a Love<\/em>, which also arrived alongside a moving, self-directed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/prescriptionpr.cmail20.com\/t\/j-l-ajuyukk-ejlihlkhu-a\/\">video<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dave first began work on For Those I Love as a chance to write frankly about the struggles he and his friends faced while growing up in north Dublin. Anecdotally and otherwise, For Those I Love documents the harsh realities of a daily life up against it, and holds a mirror up to the clear disparity between a working class upbringing and the lack of opportunity that remains to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At its core, the forthcoming album pays tribute to Dave\u2019s best friend and former bandmate, Paul Curran, who passed away in 2018. Following Paul\u2019s tragic death, Dave locked himself away in his home studio for months, ultimately recording over 76 songs that would eventually be condensed down to form the basis of his debut album.
