Our bands go a long way back. We were playing shows together in Leeds basements when we were starting out, and have gone on to take our own paths and carve out our own niches. We\u2019ve always been close so it\u2019s great to be able to come together again, and take stock of those journeys.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More about I LIKE TRAINS?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Formed in 2004, I LIKE TRAINS is&nbsp;David Martin&nbsp;(vocals\/guitar),&nbsp;Alistair Bowis&nbsp;(bass),&nbsp;GuyBannister&nbsp;(guitar\/synths),&nbsp;Simon Fogal&nbsp;(drums) and&nbsp;Ian Jarrold&nbsp;(guitar).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A resonant and timely rally against the powers-that-be, this ominous offering is the latest leg of the expository musical quest, following singles&nbsp;<em><a href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/i-like-trains-share-dig-in-single-propaganda-inspired-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"I LIKE TRAINS share \u2018Dig In\u2019 single + propaganda-inspired video\">Dig In<\/a><\/em> and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/iliketrains.bandcamp.com\/track\/a-steady-hand\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><em>A Steady Hand<\/em><\/a>, both of which also offer videos by long-time visual collaborator&nbsp;Michael Connolly&nbsp;&#8211; congnizant reactions to a world that has changed beyond all recognition. They also recently shared a series of deepfake remixes of the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their latest musical output digs beneath populism\u2019s rise, from the divide and conquer tactics that caused Brexit in the UK, to Trump\u2019s ascent and the subsequent reign of lies and misinformation, to discover the grubby hands that have engineered it all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;The Truth (Vessels Remix)&#8217; is out now, available&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/orcd.co\/truthrmx\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">everywhere online<\/a><strong>.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2018KOMPROMAT\u2019 is also available digitally, on black vinyl LP, limited edition silver vinyl LP and CD.
