The Joy Formidable have shared the video for\u00a0Chimes<\/em>, the latest single lifted from forthcoming album\u00a0\u2018Into To The Blue\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Into The Blue\u2019\u00a0follows the band\u2019s critically acclaimed, kaleidoscopic 2018 album\u00a0\u2018AAARTH,\u2019 during which the band played the mainstage at Reading & Leeds Festival, supported Foo Fighters on their North American tour,\u00a0and were invited by The Cure\u2019s Robert Smith to play his Meltdown Festival at the South Bank, London, and Pasadena Daydream Fest in LA. The band\u2019s new album will arrive into a much different world this time around, but it is birthed possessing a new energy and inventiveness. Even during the worst of times, their music finds a way to inspire and\u00a0thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chimes<\/em> is the third single to emerge from the new album, and follows Back To Nothing<\/em><\/a> and Into The Blue<\/a><\/em>, dubbed \u201cas confident and impressive as ever\u201d<\/em> by Huw Stephens on BBC 6 Music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lead singer and guitarist Ritzy Bryan comments: \u201cWe filmed the video in a beautiful, old barn in Southern Utah that shared a pen with the animals next door. I wonder if they enjoyed the show?! When the sun started falling at dusk these beautiful patterns of light beamed through the cracks in the wood. Nature\u2019s lightshow at it\u2019s finest. There\u2019s a tiny homage to Snow White with the animated bird. It represents a real life moment that happened to me last year that felt symbolic of someone I\u2019d lost; not just a visit from a little bird but a message that everything was going to be okay and to live life to the fullest.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
