The Halifax, Nova Scotia-based quartet\u00a0have shared their new single,\u00a0<em>Mirror<\/em> which completes a double A-side release\u00a0following last month&#8217;s track,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/showyourbonespr.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=4c25773ce0262fea87830a367&amp;id=a84848f8b0&amp;e=718aede610\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Moving On<\/em><\/a>\u00a0which found praise at\u00a0CBC Songs You Need to Hear,\u00a0Exclaim\u00a0and more.\u00a0The new double A-side, released via\u00a0Forward Music Group\u00a0marks the return of the band following their\u00a0Bandcamp Daily\u00a0and\u00a0Exclaim-tipped 2021 EP,\u00a0\u2018Little Piece of Hair\u2019\u00a0(watch the video for <em>Do You Want To Dance?<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/showyourbonespr.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=4c25773ce0262fea87830a367&amp;id=686ec4ff15&amp;e=718aede610\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>). As with <em>Moving On<\/em>, this second cut deals with depression and the general oppression in life whilst trying to find a way to preserve and push on.<br><br>Speaking about <em>Mirror<\/em>, Century Egg says: <em>&#8220;This song is about the struggle of depression and how dark things can feel even when there are bright sides.&#8221;<br><\/em><br>Century Egg is made up of singer Shane Song, bassist\/backing vocalist Matty Grace, guitarist Robert Drisdelle\u00a0and drummer Megumi Yoshida.
