The album\u2019s first two singles are also out now at all DSPs: the menacing CHILDREN OF SORROW<\/em><\/a>, featuring Lamb of God\u2019s Willie Adler on guitar, and the half-time hellscape SICKO<\/em><\/a>, which samples Godflesh\u2019s \u201cLike Rats\u201d. Preview the singles\u2019 upcoming visuals by James Markidis and Mynxii White via a new\u00a0YouTube trailer<\/a>.\u00a0\u2018RAT WARS\u2019\u00a0is now available for pre-order on limited edition vinyl, cassette, and more\u00a0here<\/a>.\n\nHEALTH also announced a 2024 headlining U.S. tour\u00a0beginning March 2nd\u00a0in Ventura, CA and including shows at NYC\u2019s Brooklyn Steel\u00a0on March 15th\u00a0and LA\u2019s Belasco Theater\u00a0on April 4th.\u00a0Pixel Grip and King Yosef support on all dates; a full itinerary is listed below and tickets go on-sale Friday, October 6th, at 10am local time. The trio will host a full album listening party of\u00a0\u2018RAT WARS\u2019\u00a0at LA\u2019s Das Bunker tomorrow (Friday, October 6th), where they\u2019ll party with fans afterwards (21+, free with RSVP).\n\nThe follow-up to 2019\u2019s\u00a0\u2018VOL. 4 :: SLAVES OF FEAR,\u2019 HEALTH\u2019s fifth album is the most violent yet vulnerable of their career. It is somehow fitting that such a brutal collection of songs is at the same time their most comprehensive artistic statement.\n\nMeticulously aggressive production detail collides with painfully personal confessions and a strange savage grace is paired with icy gallows humor\u2026 surprisingly it\u2019s still fun as hell.\n\nProduced by Stint (Oliver Tree, Demi Lovato) and mixed by Lars Stalfors (SALEM, The Neighbourhood) the 12-track LP joins the lineage of groundbreaking heavy acts like Nine Inch Nails and Ministry, which re-drew the borders between metal, electronic and pop music. It also speaks directly to the band\u2019s young, fervent online subculture. It\u2019s\u00a0\u2018The Downward Spiral\u2019\u00a0for people with at least two monitors and a vitamin D deficiency.\n\nWritten during the most emotionally trying period of the band\u2019s life, the album builds on their chaotic yet re-invigorating pandemic years.\u00a0\u2018RAT WARS\u2019\u00a0captures all the fury and ambition their LP\u2019s have until now aspired to.
