Brooklyn’s\u00a0Left Circles\u00a0has released the new single Bleed It Out<\/em>, along with a music video for the track, which is lifted from the upcoming debut LP\u00a0‘Nothing Is One Thing,’\u00a0out\u00a0April 26\u00a0via\u00a0Miserable Neighbor Records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The solo project of Brooklyn-based musician\u00a0Brian Pluta\u00a0(live guitarist for\u00a0Space Cadet), Left Circles is not content to stay confined to one style. The hook-heavy album flies through several modes of rock, from \u201890s lo-fi to Brit pop to \u201850s folk. It was mixed by\u00a0Travis Harrison (Guided By Voices, Built to Spill)\u00a0and features drums from\u00a0Kellii Scott (Failure)\u00a0and Harrison, as well as guest vocals from\u00a0Matt Hock (Space Cadet, The Explosion). Brian also plays live guitar for Miserable Neighbor labelmates Space Cadet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of the single, Pluta says,\u00a0“Bleed It Out was written by accident. I had already gotten all the tracks together for the record, and this one just sorta slipped out while I was practicing for a show. I don’t write a lot of purely positive songs, but it’s like this one demanded to exist. With all the negativity thrown at us these days, it’s too easy to internalize it to the point of self-defeat. This song is a little antidote.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
