It is impossible to exaggerate the resulting radical galvanizing effect on the Melbourne scene \u2013 these legendary performances changed the lives of so many people, myself included. I am happy when I am described as an \u2018Australian\u2019 musician&#8230; I still argue that The Saints started punk rock.&#8221;\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/em>Nick Cave<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most revered, reviled and talked about records in all Australian music history,\u00a0\u2018(I\u2019m) Stranded\u2019\u00a0by\u00a0The Saints,\u00a0finally gets the vinyl box set treatment.\u00a0A joint collaboration between\u00a0In The Red Records, Universal Music Australia and spearheaded by Feel Presents and Saints founder\u00a0Ed Kuepper, the deluxe edition of\u00a0\u2018(I\u2019m) Stranded\u2019\u00a0will feature 4 x vinyl LPs covering all the band\u2019s studio and live recordings from 1976 thru 1977 and includes;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The iconic debut album remastered for vinyl for the first time in over 40 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A five-song live performance from Paddington Town Hall, Sydney April 3rd,1977 appearing on vinyl for the first time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A full live performance from the Hope &amp; Anchor Front Row Festival, London, November 1977 appearing on vinyl for the first time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All three tracks from the 1977 <em>This Perfect Day<\/em> 12\u201d single and all four tracks from the\u00a01977 <em>1-2-3-4<\/em>\u00a0double 7\u201d single<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The previously unreleased 1976 demo mix of the full \u2018(I\u2019m) Stranded\u2019 album<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to all that vinyl,\u00a0\u2018(I\u2019m) Stranded\u2019\u00a0deluxe edition will also features a 28 page 12\u201d x 12\u201d photo essay of the band covering their origins from 1973 through the end of of \u201977, authorized band history, an 8\u201d x 10\u201d 1976 promo photo and a\u00a0\u2018(I\u2019m) Stranded\u2019\u00a0sticker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;It&#8217;s been an exhausting yet thrilling process being involved in the creation of this box set.\u00a0It&#8217;s been 51 years in the making and has possibly turned out even better\u00a0than I anticipated.
