Released via Cutters Records \/ The Orchard, Solid<\/em> picks up right where Cut Copy left off\u2014but with a fresh emotional current. It\u2019s a shimmering, slow-build track that starts mellow and blooms into a warm, synth-filled anthem. It’s got that classic Cut Copy feeling: nostalgic, uplifting, danceable, and just a little bit existential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally sketched out as an instrumental, Solid<\/em> took on a whole new life during a moment of creative breakthrough. With soft pulses, delicate layers, and a mantra-like chorus\u2014”We\u2019ll be solid”\u2014the song feels like a hug for the soul, a quiet anthem of resilience made to move to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
