London\u2019s indie underdogs World News<\/strong> are back and making noise with their first single of the year, Don\u2019t Want To Know<\/em>\u2014a bittersweet, jangly slice of post-punk perfection that\u2019s out now on their own DIY label, Pie & Mash<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recorded at the legendary RAK Studios<\/strong> and produced by Tommy Bosustow<\/strong> (yes, the same one who’s worked with Muse and Taylor Swift), this one\u2019s a moody, melodic gut-punch. Think chiming guitars, vintage indie hooks, and a brooding vocal performance from frontman Alex Evans<\/strong>, who pulls you right into the depths of disillusionment and emotional shut-down. \u201cI think when I wrote it, I was definitely in a depressive episode<\/em>,\u201d Evans shares.
