His latest single,\u00a0<strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/thxsomch.lnk.to\/wouldyou\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Would You?<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, is out now via Atlantic Records, and it\u2019s a feverish ride through the wild corridors of his mind. Part twisted confession, part melodic sucker-punch, the track is every bit as unhinged as it is unforgettable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Backed by&nbsp;<strong>grayskies<\/strong>&nbsp;(known for work with D4VD and Wisp) on production and the ever-iconic&nbsp;<strong>Mike Crossey<\/strong>&nbsp;(Arctic Monkeys, The 1975) on the mixing desk, <em>Would You?<\/em> takes ThxSoMch\u2019s signature angst and cranks it to eleven. With pounding drums, scorched vocals, and hooks sharp enough to scar, the song plays like a manic tug-of-war between fantasy and reality. Pulling heavy inspiration from Darren Aronofsky&#8217;s&nbsp;<strong>Black Swan<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Requiem for a Dream<\/strong>, the short film captures a visceral, dreamlike descent into anxiety. Shot in Toronto and directed with a gritty, cinematic edge, it\u2019s a deliberately disorienting experience\u2014unsettling, intimate, and raw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201c<em>It was always meant to feel unhinged and intimate at the same time,<\/em>\u201d the director shared. \u201c<em>We scaled down the chaos into something way more personal. Easily the most ambitious thing I\u2019ve done\u2014visually, emotionally, all of it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re just tuning in, ThxSoMch first exploded onto the scene with the viral blast of&nbsp;<strong><em>SPIT IN MY FACE!<\/em><\/strong> back in 2022\u2014charting on the Billboard Hot 100 and racking up over&nbsp;<strong>672 million streams<\/strong>&nbsp;on Spotify alone.
