With no formal training and a DIY attitude (Halter learned bass just to start the band), they quickly evolved into a tight, fearsome live unit, now known for chaotic, anything-goes shows\u2014cartwheels, rafters, solos mid-crowdsurf\u2026you name it, they\u2019ll probably do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The album\u2019s shapeshifting spirit owes a lot to the band\u2019s instrument-swapping, co-writing dynamic and the sharp production touch of Will Yip (Turnstile, Mannequin Pussy). There\u2019s no hierarchy here\u2014just raw synergy, deep trust, and the kind of bond that only forms when you\u2019ve known each other since preschool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tracks like the frenetic&nbsp;<em>Pop Punk Anthem<\/em>&nbsp;and visceral&nbsp;<em>American Porn<\/em>&nbsp;dive deep into obsession, power, and identity, while others like&nbsp;<em>RIDING WITH MY GIRLS<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Down on It<\/em>&nbsp;show off their range and emotional depth. Across 11 tracks,&nbsp;<em>Something to Consume<\/em>&nbsp;is a feast of sound, spirit, and unfiltered feeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Spitz are currently making their UK and European live debut, having already sold out shows in London, Berlin, and Cologne. They\u2019re heading to 2000 Trees Festival and beyond, then returning stateside this fall for a headline tour behind the new record.
