Alright punk rock faithful, time to dust off your ripped tees and get your ears ready\u2014because the legendary New Bomb Turks<\/strong> are back on the road this summer for a rare run of East Coast shows. Yep, you heard that right. It\u2019s the first real stretch of gigs they\u2019ve done in years, and if your summer\u2019s been a little too quiet, this is your wake-up call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formed in the fertile punk soil of\u00a0Columbus, Ohio<\/strong>\u00a0back in the early \u201890s, New Bomb Turks came out swinging with their feral and fearless debut,\u00a0\u2018!!Destroy-Oh-Boy!!\u2019. That album didn\u2019t just raise eyebrows\u2014it\u00a0reignited<\/em>\u00a0the primal energy of early rock\u2019n\u2019roll with a raw punk charge. Critics went nuts. Fans went nuts. Even\u00a0Howlin\u2019 Pelle Almquist<\/strong>\u00a0of The Hives couldn\u2019t contain himself, calling it \u201ca Top 5 ever punk rock album,\u201d and claiming it meant everything to him when music meant everything. Mic drop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Turks went on to release a string of killer records across labels like\u00a0Crypt<\/strong>,\u00a0Epitaph<\/strong>, and Gearhead<\/strong>, tearing up stages across the U.S. and Europe. But over the past decade, they\u2019ve only been spotted playing a handful of one-off gigs. That makes this run feel like a full-on punk holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if that\u2019s not enough to get your boots stomping, Seattle punk lifers The Drowns<\/strong> will be opening all dates with their no-bullshit, blue-collar rock fury. Expect sweat, volume, and maybe even a little chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
