The track arrives just ahead of their upcoming album&nbsp;\u2018Thirst,\u2019 which lands August 29 via Pure Noise Records\u2014and yeah, we\u2019re already spiraling into its glow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This one\u2019s a slow burn in all the right ways. Gritty, immersive, and completely untethered from time,&nbsp;<em>Bloodmoon<\/em> plays like a sonic eclipse\u2014moody guitars swirl, the rhythms pulse like a heartbeat, and Isa Holliday\u2019s vocals drift through like a ghost in velvet. The band describes it as \u201c<em>about the struggles and pain of a passionate and purposeful life, but a life worth living.<\/em>\u201d A little existential, a lot cathartic. It\u2019s their first full-length since 2021\u2019s&nbsp;\u2018Hush,\u2019 and after some well-earned time away from the road, the band returned sharper, rawer, and more emotionally exposed. They holed up at The Ranch in Southampton with producer&nbsp;<strong>Lewis Johns<\/strong>&nbsp;(you know him from records by Employed To Serve, Svalbard, etc.), and came out the other side with ten songs that feel both scorched and shimmering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s a weight to&nbsp;\u2018Thirst\u2019\u2014more distortion, more vulnerability, more of everything, really. During recording, Isa couldn\u2019t even get through some vocal takes without breaking down. It\u2019s personal, it\u2019s intimate, and it shows. She calls the album \u201c<em>the romance of being with a loved one<\/em>\u201d\u2014not just the joy of connection, but the ache of distance and the sweetness of reunion. That emotional gravity threads through every track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cO<em>ur goal,<\/em>\u201d Isa says, \u201c<em>was to make people feel like they\u2019re floating in it.
