The secret weapon? Fcukers’ Shanny steps in with newly added vocals that don’t just ride the track \u2014 they destabilize it in the best possible way. Raw, emotional, and impossible to ignore, her presence reframes the whole thing into something darker and deeper. If you’re not already up on Ang\u00e8le, now’s your moment. Born Ang\u00e8le Van Laeken, she’s spent the last several years becoming one of the most important pop artists to come out of Europe \u2014 full stop. Her debut, ‘Brol’ (2018), moved over a million copies and gave an entire generation of French and Belgian listeners a soundtrack, including Balance ton quoi<\/em>, a feminist anthem that became synonymous with the French #MeToo movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The follow-up, ‘Nonante-Cinq’ (2021), went deeper \u2014 disco-pop with emotional clarity and a refined sense of self. Sold-out arenas followed.
