Crime & The City Solution\u00a0will be touring for the first time in over 20 years\u00a0this October\u00a0<\/span>with dates in Denver, Detroit, Chicago, Brooklyn, Los Angeles and San Francisco. See list of tour dates and ticket links below.<\/p>\n

For this latest incarnation of\u00a0Crime & The City Solution, the line up features Berlin era members\u00a0Simon Bonney\u00a0(vocals),\u00a0Bronwyn Adams\u00a0(violin) andAlexander Hacke\u00a0(guitar), and will be joined by renowned visual artist Danielle de Picciotto,\u00a0Jim White\u00a0(drums, The Dirty Three),\u00a0David Eugene Edwards\u00a0(guitar, 16 Horsepower \/ Wovenhand),\u00a0Troy Gregory\u00a0(bass, The Dirtbombs \/ Swans \/ Spiritualized) and\u00a0Matthew Smith\u00a0(keyboards).<\/p>\n

The live show will feature new music\u00a0from ‘American\u00a0Twilight’ (the band’s latest album)\u00a0as well as reinterpretations of songs from the Berlin and\u00a0London periods. It will also feature, for the first\u00a0time, a powerful visual component designed by new member Danielle de Picciotto.<\/p>\n

The tour follows the September 25 release of their compilation “An Introduction To\u2026 Crime & The City Solution \/ A History Of Crime \u2013 Berlin 1987 \u2013 1991”\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0via\u00a0Mute.\u00a0 The tracklisting (see below) was chosen by the band from three Berlin era albums: “Shine”\u00a0<\/em>(1988), “The Bride Ship”\u00a0<\/em>(1989) and “Paradise Discotheque”\u00a0<\/em>(1990).<\/p>\n
